Managed by the Ex Machina company, La Caserne is a multidisciplinary creation and production center situated in downtown Quebec, next to the Old Port area. The building was renovated in 1997 in order to fullfill the requirements of creations based on art and technology, as well as new media. La Caserne is central and easily accessible. It offers two studios for rent, of which configurations may vary according to the nature of the events. In this way, the place can be rent on a had oc basis for shootings, recordings, corporative events, press conferences, rehearsals or shows. Besides, the Quebec public has come to associate La Caserne with avant-garde artistic creations since several years.

Renting a studio in La Caserne comprise several advantages:

stage lights and sound system equipments included in the rental fees (please look at technical cards correspondent to each studio)
several rigging points and power sources allowing fast and effective technical editings
unloading dock with a garage-type door of 24’ x 21’ opening onto studio 1
access to a carpentry and repairing workshop
several parking lots all around
bar service available on demand
dressing rooms and kitchenette available on site
